Disposal of 117,000 sq ft distribution warehouse in Redditch

Charles Irvine has arranged the sale of the Transmec warehouse in Crossgate, Redditch on behalf of Transmec UK Ltd for GBP9 million.

Transmec is an privately owned Italian 3PL business headquartered in Modena, with operations globally. The 117,000 sq ft warehouse is located on Park Farm Industrial Estate and serves as the northern hub. was sold to a sector specialist fund.Transmec will remain in the property on a long-term lease.

The transaction is part of a disposals programme undertaken on behalf of Transmec, with the objective of releasing capital for reinvestment in the business. Charles Irvine assisted in the structuring of the sale and the lease in order to optimise financial and accounting outcomes for Transmec. This is the third and final sale in two years following Transmec’s property sales in Bradford and West Thurrock.
